A university timetable for one term
Daniel Arochena · Creator of Calendaro
From a class table to a bounded calendar: separate lectures and labs, breaks and room changes.
Starting point
Fictional example: Mathematics Monday and Wednesday 09:00–10:00 in A2, labs Friday 11:00–12:30. The period is 2 November to 18 December 2026, Europe/Madrid. This is an illustrative scenario, not a tested conversion from a real university.
Use your group's official timetable rather than an undifferentiated table of all groups. Crop out classmates' data and keep weekday and time headers.
Prepare and review
Write the period and time zone alongside the image. Request two entries: lectures on Monday and Wednesday, labs on Friday with their room. Check each entry's dates, days and times; do not accept one entry mixing their hours.
For a break, split the period into blocks or use specific dates. A/B weeks are not represented by simply selecting weekly; the class guide explains current limits.
Add and maintain it
When the review matches the timetable, complete the email and create the link. Subscribe in Apple or Google using its guide. Check a date of each session type in the app to catch a misread column.
For a room change throughout the period, edit the entry in Calendaro. For one session, avoid moving every week: split blocks or add the correct date. Check the official announcement; an external calendar update may still be pending.
Before treating it as correct
Check a normal week, the last week and any break. National holidays may not cover all institution breaks. Do not include exams with inferred times that have not been confirmed.
This calendar helps you consult the timetable; it is not the official source of changes. Keep the link safe and remove a previous import if it duplicates the subscription.
